Look at All The Animals is a brand new kids app created by April Peter, Daniel Shneor, Karen Kredo, and Nir Hermoni. It’s an animated children’s book that works on both iPhone and iPad. I tried the iPad version and was immediately delighted by the beautiful artwork, and smooth animations. The book tells a simple and cute story about little girl enjoying the small wonders of life.
The app is really simple to use, so no instructions are needed. You just tap small arrows to flip through the pages and tap the text to hear the narration and see the animations. The artwork in “Look at All The Animals” is beautiful, especially the cover image of the small girl looking out the window. She is really cute. Another strength of the app is the animations that are vivid and believable.
There are 8 pages of content and each page contains short narration and animated sequence that lasts about 10 seconds, so unfortunately the experience doesn’t last long. I think that with some interactivity in the animated sequences and with a few mini games, the replay value of the app would have been much higher. All that app has is good, but it just isn’t much. I think people expect much more content and interactivity these days, even in a two dollar app. There is clearly a talented crew behind this app, so let’s hope there will be more content in the next book which is, as their Web site hints, in the works already.

What a cool looking game, I love the artwork, (I bet the artist is french or English) and to think most people don’t realize how expensive it it to create a game like this, with all the animation involved
Nice review, I will try and find the time to check it out.
Thumbs up from me ***
